This Cookie Policy explains how Magical Mates LLC, doing business as SafetyClinic.app, uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on the SafetyClinic.app website and application. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
What we use
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage, plus first-party product analytics inside the signed-in application. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not use cross-site tracking.
- Marketing website (safetyclinic.app): the public pages set no cookies and load no third-party trackers. Our content security policy blocks third-party scripts.
- Application (safetyclinic.app/app): after you sign in, our authentication provider stores session and security tokens in your browser's local storage or cookies so that you stay signed in and your session stays secure. These are essential to the Service and cannot be turned off while you use it. On mobile, the equivalent tokens are stored securely on your device.
- Analytics (application only): we use PostHog, a product-analytics provider, to understand which features are used and where people get stuck. It stores an identifier in local storage or cookies so the same signed-in user is counted once across visits. It is not used for advertising and does not follow you across other websites or apps; the safety content you enter is not sent to it.
If crash reporting is enabled for a build, a diagnostic identifier may be stored to correlate error reports; crash reporting is off unless explicitly enabled.
Managing cookies and local storage
There is no advertising tracking to opt out of. You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser or device settings, and you can sign out to end your session. Clearing essential storage will sign you out and may prevent the Service from working correctly. If you would like your usage excluded from product analytics, contact support@safetyclinic.app.
